Mike gives excellent instruction and shows great patience with young students. His years of experience, playing various genres of music, can accommodate most people’s desired playing style and ability they want to achieve. My 16 year old son has been playing for nearly 2 years now and loves drumming to 80s and 90s rock. He has been very happy with his progress working with Mike for nearly 5 months now.

I started lessons with Mike 2 years ago.He is a highly gifted teacher. He has a well developed system to help novice drummers ( like me) build fundamental skills. He is able to quickly identify how to help me correct and improve my technique. His depth of experience means he can readily customize practice exercises to help me improve. Plus he is enthusiastic and fun! He clearly enjoys teaching. I consider myself very fortunate to have him as my drumming instructor!
